The Storylines Tessa Duder Award
The Storylines Children’s Literature Charitable Trust has instituted a new award, the Storylines Tessa Duder Award for a previously unpublished young adult writer.

Short Story Collection
Is She Still Alive? – scintillating tales for women of a certain age, Tessa‘s first adult fiction, was published by HarperCollins in May 2008 and very quickly moved onto the New Zealand Best-seller List. It was Number 2 for many weeks, dropping to Number 3 before its final exit after a total of eleven weeks. The book is a collection of thirteen short stories, two close to novella length, about women of ‘a certain age.’
